Ruslan Khasanov — about me

I'm a marketer and growth strategist based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I came up through corporate marketing in financial services: I led small business marketing at Alfa Bank, digital marketing at Home Credit Bank and product at Halyk Insurance. I worked as a marketing project manager at BI GROUP and was part of the team that launched Samsung Kazakhstan's online store.

Today my work spans four connected lines. Tracking — I help startups at Astana Hub, Almaty Hub, Terricon Valley, NURIS and IT Park find growth points, test hypotheses and land first customers. Execution — through my studio Revanite I run advertising, analytics and strategy for small and mid-sized businesses across Kazakhstan and the CIS. Teaching — I lecture in digital marketing at AlmaU, Qamalladin University and ICB college. In-house — I head digital marketing at the fiscal technology platform re:Kassa.

Across all of it I work like a tracker: first find where growth is actually being lost, then decide what to do. Hence Revanite's principle — marketing as an investment, not an expense. Every channel has to pay back and be measurable, from click to paid deal in the CRM.
